Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to purchases of plans and event packages on the Gleamy platform (the "Service"). It explains when and how you may request a refund, the conditions for eligibility, and your rights as a consumer. This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read together with them.

1. Refund Policy overview

We understand that plans can change—events may be rescheduled or canceled. Gleamy's refund policy is designed to be clear and fair, while accounting for the operational costs of running an event gallery (storage, processing, and support).

This Policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

2. Consumer withdrawal rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union or Turkey, you may have a legal right to withdraw from a distance or off-premises contract within 14 days of the transaction date, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

Because Gleamy provides digital content that can be accessed and used immediately upon purchase, you may be asked to give express consent to begin using the Service before the 14-day withdrawal period ends. By giving such consent, you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. If you do not consent, you retain your withdrawal right but will not have access to the Service until the withdrawal period has expired.

This Policy does not limit any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws, including Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection in Turkey and Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights in the EU.

3. Event-based refund window

Events are time-bound, so refund eligibility depends on your scheduled event date and how much the gallery has been used. If you reach out before the event and before meaningful usage, we can review your request under the guidelines below.

4. When you may be eligible

You may be eligible for a refund if one or more of the following apply:

  • You request a refund before your scheduled event date.
  • The gallery has not been meaningfully used (for example, limited uploads and minimal guest activity).
  • Your request is consistent with our Terms & Conditions and applicable consumer protection laws.
  • A technical issue on our side prevented you from using Gleamy as described, and our support team could not resolve it within a reasonable time.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Contact us via email or the contact form: Send your request via the contact form on the gleamy.ai homepage or email hello@gleamy.ai.
  2. Share your purchase and event details: Include your order ID (if available), the email used at checkout, your event date, and a short note explaining the reason for your request.
  3. We review and confirm the outcome: We'll review your request against these guidelines and our Terms & Conditions, then confirm the result and next steps.

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

6. Typically not eligible

To keep the service sustainable, refund requests are typically not approved in situations such as:

  • Requests made after the event has taken place and the gallery has been actively used (for example, a meaningful or moderate level of uploads and guest activity).
  • Purchases made through unauthorized resellers or channels not operated by Gleamy.
  • Requests based solely on missing features that were not presented as part of the purchased plan.
  • Refund requests after extensive use of a higher-tier plan followed by a downgrade attempt.

7. Refund processing time

Once approved, refunds are processed promptly. The time it takes for the amount to appear on a statement depends on your bank or payment provider, and can take around 5–10 business days in many cases.

8. Feedback (optional)

If you request a refund, you can share a short note about what didn't work for your event. Your feedback helps us improve the Gleamy experience.

9. Disputes

If you believe your refund request was unfairly denied, contact us again at hello@gleamy.ai or via the contact form on the gleamy.ai homepage to request a review. You may also have the right to seek resolution through consumer protection authorities or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page
  • Notify you via email or through the Service at least 30 days before changes take effect (for material changes)
  • Provide a summary of key changes where practical

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service before the changes take effect.
